So for programs like Bryce or TrueSpace I don't know.. the pics on my site are all done in Lightwave 3d ([ www.newtek.com ]) it's probably got one of the best learning curves for the professional 3D apps. I'm self taught for the most part, 6 years off and on... With help, books online ppl, or room mate, hehe, helping my room mate.. your looking at 3 years, maybe less to get to the same 'level' I'm at. But.. like I said depends. if you program or are technicaly and 3D spacaly inclined (play lots of 3D shooters heh) it will help. A lot goes into it... modeling, texturing and lighting. 2D helps in some way, with imagine composition, color, etc. and for painting textures to put on the 3D objects 8*) ICQ me for more info, 19732070 feel free, I'm always down for talking about it 8*) or: gluge@gluge.com if you don't have ICQ.
